4 Copy into Gmail

The preview on the right always matches exactly what gets copied — no extra background or borders are included.

How to add this to Gmail:
  1. Settings (gear icon) → See all settings → General → Signature → Create new.
  2. Click "Copy signature HTML" above, then paste directly into the Gmail signature box.
  3. Gmail keeps formatting when pasted from a rendered source — if it looks like raw code, use the plain-text fallback and re-apply formatting manually, or paste into a blank email body first, then copy that into the signature box.
Before this goes live, check:
  • The hosted icon URL is a real, public HubSpot Files link (not a placeholder).
  • Article URL, headline and teaser are all filled in — the link appears three times in the HTML.
  • Alt text on the image is set to the article headline, not "Article thumbnail" — Outlook blocks images by default, so alt text is often what people actually read.
  • Name, title, email and mobile are correct for the sender.
